I am an award winning artist and writer living in the Haute Savoie, France.
Before arriving in France I lived in Miami for three years and the Philippines for five years where I staged a solo exhibition of portraits at LRI Design Centre and the Pineapple Lab as well as exhibiting at the Cultural Centre of the Philippines and Shangri-la (Makati) and the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami. I founded Tableaux Arts in 2016 which creates bespoke artwork for homes and businesses.
I am a member of the Printmakers of the Philippines Association. My work has also been featured in Elle Decoration and on the Peoples Television Network (Philippines). My work has also been installed in private homes, hotels and offices around the world including Martinique, New York, Hawaii, Washington D.C, Miami, India, London (U.K), Paris, French Alps, Philippines and Australia.

Inspiration and Themes
I paint both portraits, the figure and landscapes. I create large pieces that are rooted in history. Intrinsic within my work is a story. Often, I incorporate natural elements, maps and words which are inspired by the subject’s journey.
I am inspired by the journeys people make. Roots, cultural identity and pathways have all become themes in my work. In addition I am also drawn to the relationships between mothers and their children. I love the saying “give your loved ones reasons to stay, roots to come back to and wings to fly”. Similarly I aim to convey through my work the feeling of both roots and wings.
When I paint an individual I try and inhabit their feelings. I try to feel what they may have felt at that moment – as if I were an actor becoming a role.
The central theme of my work is the heroine’'s journey. I seek to capture the untold stories of women. I work in a variety of mediums including watercolour, oil and acrylic, spray paint, digital media and traditional printmaking (carving a wood or rubber block to create a unique print). I will often combine two or more mediums so they interact within the work creating a multi-layered piece. For example in the Vizcaya 2021 series “"Her Story”" I used watercolour, acrylic paint, and digital media. Finally I had all the pieces printed on silk to create a feminine ethereal feeling. The light floaty quality of the fabric suggesting the fleetingness of time – moments of history caught in a glimpse.
